Sukumar directorial Pushpa: The Rise - Part One not only made Allu Arjun a pan-India star, almost two years after the release, it has now written his name in history as the first Telugu actor to win a National Film Award in Best Actor category.
Soon after Allu Arjun was announced as the winner, a number of his fans were elated while a few others questioned his win.
Amid that, some social media users are now pitying Mahesh Babu for rejecting the role and his old tweet about the same from 2019 has now gone viral.

Mahesh Babu had tweeted, “Due to creative differences, my film with Sukumar is not happening. I wish him all the best on the announcement of his new project. Respect always for a film maker par exellence. 1 Nenokkadine will remain as a cult classic. Enjoyed every moment working on that film. All the best sir for your new film.”
